This is the most consistent trick I use to boost the download speed, and this worked for me in downloading Miles Morales and also for my PC. Locate “Download Region” and change it to any nearby region that is not Default for you.One of the main reasons I prefer Steam over other launchers is that if the download speed is slow or stuck, I can change the download region, restart the launcher, and most of the time the speed goes up to the maximum amount. Usually, it will happen instantly, but in some cases, it can take time so be patient.
Restart the launcher after activating the VPN and wait for the download speed to go up. Make sure that the region is set to a nearby location.
